Sustainable Business Fellows Program
The Sustainable Business Institute in the Leavey School of Business offers SCU undergraduate students the opportunity to apply for the Sustainable Business Fellows (SBF) program. This contemporary initiative provides students with the knowledge and practical experience essential for leading and managing successful businesses while also cultivating a deep understanding of the complex social, economic, and environmental challenges. On completion of the Sustainable Business Fellows program, you'll be equipped to address these challenges head-on, transform business operations and models, and uncover opportunities to create value through sustainability.
The SBF program uniquely integrates business, sustainability, and social impact education. As a Sustainable Business Fellow, you'll join a community committed to advancing sustainable business practices that promote the common good.
To Apply
- Student must have completed BUSN 70
- Student must have sophomore standing or higher at the start of their fellowship
- Applicants should plan to enroll in the foundational course for the upcoming fall quarter
- Complete the SBI Fellows application and interview with the SBI Program Director.
Curriculum for the SBI Fellows Program
- Welcome to the Fellows Program
- Case Writing Workshop
- Industry visit (experiential experience)
- Complete MGMT 134: Business Sustainability Foundations (5 units)
- Complete ENVS 22, Intro to Environmental Studies (4 units)
- Complete a case study development project
- Present the case study at an on-campus student presentation event
- Wrap up your time with the Sustainable Business Fellows
